<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip conveyor device which can be downsized while securing the filtering capability of a drum filter with backwashing. <P>SOLUTION: The chip conveyor device includes a dirty tank U1 into which dirty cutting liquid L1 mixed with chip discharged from a machine tool flows, the drum filter D1 disposed in the dirty tank U1 under its liquid level for filtering the dirty cutting liquid L1, a clean tank U2 disposed adjacent to the dirty tank U1 for receiving clean cutting liquid L2 discharged from the exit of the drum filter D1, and an air jetting pipe F1 disposed in the clean cutting liquid L2 for jetting compressed air.
