<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the conventional aerial ultrasonic wave transceiver, having an aperture at the center of a sidewall on the narrower internal rectangular-shaped side of a bottomed cylindrical case, such that directivity in the horizontal direction protrudes from a vehicle width and produces a wider detection range than is required. <P>SOLUTION: With the provision of an aperture on the sidewall of the bottomed cylindrical case, there is provided an ultrasonic wave transceiver avoiding the protruded detection range from the vehicle width by decentering the horizontal directivity by shifting the center axis of the aperture, provided on the side face of the narrower internal rectangular-shaped side of the bottomed cylindrical case, to one direction from the center axis of the aperture on the narrower side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
