<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive stair climbing vehicle that can ascend and descend stairs smoothly. <P>SOLUTION: The stair climbing vehicle includes travelling wheels (5) supporting a vehicle body (4). The travelling wheel (5) includes: a rotation axis (11) supported by a fixed axis (10); a plurality of hydraulic cylinders (18a, 18c) radially protruding from the rotation axis (11); a plurality of wheels (27a, 27c) supported in an end portion of a rod (21) of the hydraulic cylinders (18a, 18c); and a hydraulic mechanism (30) supplying a working oil to the hydraulic cylinders (18a, 18c). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
