<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle equipment control device capable of selecting a switch by the visual line of a user in which the switch required by the user is precisely selected without paying no attention to see front of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of switches 61-64 is displayed in a switch display region 60 of a front window 41 of a vehicle 2 by a head up display (HUD). A visual line monitoring area 50 is defined in such a way that the visual line area usually located when a driver gazes the front of the vehicle overlaps an area of a part of a front window 41. It is determined on the basis of the image of the driver's eyeball pictured by a camera 4 whether or not the visual line of the driver is out of the visual line monitoring area 50. When the visual line is out, the movement of the driver's visual line is tracked and a switch in which the visual line is stayed for the longest time, a switch in which the visual line is finally passed or a switch in the advancing direction of the visual line in the plurality of the switches 61-64 is determined as the switch required by the driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
