<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily designate a measurement area associated with an imaging area or voxel. <P>SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging system for measuring the magnetic resonance spectrum, with respect to a plurality of the voxels designated in the imaging area, includes an imaging area determination means, a measurement area determination means and a change determination means. The imaging area determination means determines the imaging area on the image for positioning. The measurement area determination means determines the measurement area for measuring the magnetic resonance spectrum on the image for positioning. The change determination means performs the change determination for the measurement area, responding to the change determination for the imaging area made by the imaging area determination means, so that the relative positional relationship between the measurement area and the imaging area before changed are made to be maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
