<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with excellent waterproofness, an electric wire with a terminal fitting, and the terminal fitting. <P>SOLUTION: In a connector 30, a female terminal fitting 12 is connected to an electric wire 11, and is housed in a cavity 32 of a housing 31. The female terminal fitting 12 comprises a connection cylindrical part 20 connected with an opposite terminal fitting, a wire barrel 16 crimped with a core wire 13, and a connection part 19 for connecting the connection cylindrical part 20 and the wire barrel 16. A mold part 22 formed by molding synthetic resin is provided to the connection part 19, and a cylindrical thermal expansion tube 24 covering the core wire 13 is provided between the mold part 22 and an end 25 of an insulation coating 14 in close contact with an outer face of the mold part 22 and an outer face of the end 25 of the insulation coating 14. Free play of an electric wire drawing part 23 drawn to a side opposite to the mold part 22 of the electric wire 11 is restrained by being coated by the thermal expansion tube 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
