<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank capable of collecting stored objects running in leakage from the uppermost end of a pump barrel even if snow lies thick on a liquid receiving pan. <P>SOLUTION: The storage tank 1 includes: a tank body 11 wherein objects to be stored such as LNG are stored; a roof 12 provided at the upper part of the tank body 11; pump barrels 13a to 13e allocated in an upright state from the roof 12 into within the tank body 11; scattering prevention covers 14a to 14e inhibiting the stored objects running from the upper end parts of the pump barrels 13a to 13e from scattering; a liquid receiving pan 15 allocated between the upper ends of the pump barrels 13a to 13e and the roof 12, receiving for collection stored objects scattered against the roof 12; liquid guide pipe 16 leading the stored objects collected by the liquid receiving pan 15 into a liquid gathering bath 17; and auxiliary liquid guide pipes 18a to 18e guiding the stored objects prevented from scattering by the use of scattering prevention covers 14a to 14e into the liquid guide pipe 16 without the intermediary of the liquid receiving pan 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
