<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter which flexibly changes distribution of maximum power that can be supplied to respective antennas and to provide an amplifier control method. <P>SOLUTION: The transmitter includes first to third amplifiers, input-side and output-side switch portions and a switch control portion. The first amplifier is connected to a first connection route of the first antenna. The second amplifier is connected to a second connection route of the second antenna. The input-side switch portion includes: a first input switch connecting the first amplifier and the third amplifier; and a second input switch connecting the second amplifier and the third amplifier. The output-side switch portion includes: a first output switch connecting the first amplifier and the third amplifier; and a second output switch connecting the second amplifier and the third amplifier. The switch control portion synchronizes an input switch signal and an output switch signal, outputs them to the input-side switch portion and the output-side switch portion and controls the third amplifier to be connected to the first or the second amplifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
