摘要 A system and a method (1) for detecting a warning condition (2), in particular a danger condition, in a section (7) of a roadway (5) and for notifying it to users (6) of the roadway. A row of detection and signalling devices (10) is arranged along the roadway at a interval (d) from one another, each device comprising: at least one sensor (13) to create a signal (8) of such physical quantity detected in the roadway section, a communication means (17) for transferring the signal (8) between the devices, a computing means (14) to create a signal of warning condition (9), starting from at least one signal (8) of physical quantity coming from the device that is located at the roadway section, and/or from other devices through the respective communication means, a frame-forming means (14) for forming a frame (3) of data comprising physical quantity signals and/or condition signals (9); a warning condition notifying means for notifying the warning condition to the users (6) of the roadway. The communication means forms a data network, of which each device (10) defines a node (11i, i=1...T). Each device (10) recognizes a communication protocol (15) that provides steps of: defining a reception distance comprising k intervals (d), such that the receiving/transmission of one of the devices does not extend beyond reception distance k; defining a distance module corresponding to N steps (d) such that N>2k+1. The devices that are located at nodes (11a, 11a+N... 11a+hN), at a distance module from one another, are allowed to transmit (82") at the same time on a same transmission channel, during a transmission time (?t), a respective data frame (3) towards other devices that are respectively located at nodes (11a+p, 11a+N+p...11a+mN+p |p|=k) within the reception distance (k), whereas all the other devices which do not belong to this plurality of devices maintain a still stand state. The contemporaneous transmission is repeated by other pluralities of devices of the system for further transmission time until all the devices have been involved. The steps of transmission, iteration and notification are cyclically repeated.
