A lifting frame (3) is arranged to be moved upwards and downwards in a vertical direction while guided by vertical upright columns (2) of a machine frame (1). A gripping and cutting device (11) is coupled to the lifting frame so as to be vertically movable together with it. A circular guide track (5) is supported on the lifting frame so as to be movable together with it. An independent claim is also included for a wrapping method.
