摘要 The invention relates to a measuring device for determining the position and orientation of a support means relative to a reference axis, particularly for highly precisely guiding a mobile machine tool or a special measuring system, comprising a first 2D position sensor mounted on a support means for determining first orientation data indicating an orientation of the first 2D position sensor relative to a reference axis in a first plane perpendicular to the reference axis, a second 2D position sensor mounted on the support means at a distance form the first 2D position sensor in the direction of the reference axis, for determining second orientation data indicating an orientation of the second 2D position sensor relative to the reference axis in a second plane perpendicular to the reference axis, and a tilt sensor for determining tilt data indicating a tilt of the support means about an axis of rotation parallel to the reference axis. The position of the support means relative to the reference axis in two coordinate directions perpendicular to the reference axis, and the orientation of the support means relative to three orthogonal axes of rotation, can be determined from said data. The reference axis can be represented by a laser beam or by a taut wire or thread.
