The wind energy plant with a gondola (20) and a weather mast (10) that is fixed at an outer side of the gondola. The weather mast is arranged in working position outside the gondola and is arranged in maintenance position of a measuring apparatus (16) of the weather mast within interior of the gondola. The measuring apparatus is moved by an opening of the gondola in the interior of the gondola.
