Dishwasher

The dishwasher (1) has a rinsing container (2) whose single-or multi-piece bottom unit (7) is sealed with a housing unit (8) in an installed position. A U-shaped prolonged extended gasket is mounted in a position between the bottom unit and the housing unit. The gasket is firmly fixed to the housing unit, and passes through simple down depressions of the housing unit toward the bottom unit into a correct plant position. The gasket is pressed with a cross-out portion against the bottom unit that includes a receiving groove (29). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a dishwasher.
