The gear drive (122) has a gear drive housing (125), where an entrance opening is provided at an exterior of the gear drive housing for inserting an operating instrument in the gear drive housing. The guide mediums are provided inside the gear drive housing for the operating instrument. An independent claim is also included for an operating instrument formed as an inspection unit.
