Regulated power-supply system with large dynamic voltage input range

The system has a direct current to direct current voltage buck-boost converter comprising controllable semiconductor switching members (S1, S2) i.e. MOSFET transistors, respectively associated to buck and boost functions of converter. One of the switching members is driven continuously by control units (10) based on input voltage of the system. Another switching member is driven continuously by servo control units (11) based on output voltage of the system. The control unit and the servo-control units of the semiconductor switching members are active in different operation modes of the system.
