<p>PURPOSE: A peptide which binds to apatite is provided to be applied to a dental or orthopedic bone substitute and apatite-coated metal, natural polymers, and synthetic polymers and to promote cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. CONSTITUTION: A peptide with bone regeneration ability, binding to apatite contains a peptide selected among amino acids of sequence numbers 1-35 and a peptide selected among amino acids of sequence numbers 36-39. The peptide binds to apatite of amino acid sequence of sequence number 40. The apatite is organism-derived hydroxyapatite bone mineral, synthetic hydrxyapatite, hydroxyapatite, tricalcium phosphoric acid, or mono-calcium phosphate.</p> |
