FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves denaturing soya flour which basically involves thermal treatment of the soya flour in an aqueous solution, and then adding urea to the denatured soya flour which is essentially free from urease. The soya flour is denatured by heating to temperature 40C-100C for at least 15-500 minutes. The method also involves adding a cross-linking agent to the mixture of soya flour and urea and/or adding an emulsified or dispersed polymer. The polymer is selected from polyvinyl acetate or phenol-formaldehyde dispersions.
