FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of automotive tires and device to this end. Proposed method consists in assembling carcass structure on forming support. Said structure includes carcass layer with its end edge provided with annular fixing structure incorporating peripheral circular insert and filling insert. Assembling includes positioning circular fixing structure on carcass layer by displacing peripheral circular insert into contact with carcass layer end deg, pulling filling insert in said edge and folding end edge so that carcass layer folded end edge is formed. Note here that pulling filling insert on carcass layer end edge is performed when peripheral circular insert is retained in contact with said end edge by means of positioning element. Device for assembling carcass structure comprises positioning element of circular fixing structure on carcass layer end edge, pulling element of filling insert on carcass layer end edge and forming element of folded end edge of carcass layer. ^ EFFECT: production of high-efficiency tires. ^ 24 cl, 7 dwg |
