PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a handover method thereof are provided to minimize the loss of data generated in handover. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(210,220) receives a plurality of frames for each frame type of two or more frame types with a priority. A control unit(230) controls that a mobile terminal performs handover from a base station based on the frame type pattern of the frames. The handover includes a ceased process of transceiving the frames between mobile terminals. The control unit estimates a receiving point of a frame with the highest priority.
