PURPOSE: An insulating block assembly for a monorail and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by using a soft insulating material. CONSTITUTION: An insulating block assembly for a monorail comprises a position fixing member(100), an insulation block(200), and a buried block(300). The position fixing member is installed to be separated in the bottom plane of an accommodation space(2) formed on a top corner of a rail at a regular interval. The insulation block is included of the insulating materials. The insulation block comprises an accommodating groove(210) in a longitudinal direction of the rail. The accommodating groove is in a long queue formed into a longitudinal direction of the rail in order to accept the position fixing member.
