PURPOSE: A flange for assembling a tool to a spindle is provided to prevent vibration transfer to a tool from a spindle because the vibration is diminished through vibration damping materials of a partial area. CONSTITUTION: A flange(5) for assembling a tool(4) to a spindle interacts with spindles through one end portion in the state of assembling. A receiving plane(6) directed at right angle to a rotary shaft(11) of the flange is formed in an opposite end area. In the state of assembling a tool, the flange is contacted to the receiving plane. The flange comprises one or more partial sections. One or more partial sections are composed of vibration damping materials. The partial area is extended over the entire transverse section.
