X-RAY CT EQUIPMENT AND TUBE CURRENT-DETERMINING METHOD

In order to provide technology for obtaining images having high diagnosability without reduction in operability using X-ray CT equipment that controls radiation dose by establishing a target image SD and determining filming conditions (tube current) that satisfy same, X-ray CT equipment is provided wherein, by the operator simply entering a single image quality level to be used as a standard for the desired image quality level, radiation dose is controlled in proportion to the size of the subject and with appropriate contrast. The image quality level entered is used as the target image SD when scanning a standard-sized subject with a standard tube voltage.
