<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turntable which has a simple structure and is reduced in height. <P>SOLUTION: The turntable includes: a movable unit 8 rotating a conveyance object 51 placed thereon; and a fixed unit 3 supporting the movable unit 8. An upper rail member 9 is provided on a lower portion of the movable unit 8, a lower rail member 5 is provided on an upper portion of the fixed unit 3. The upper rail member 9 is disposed on the lower rail member 5 via a plurality of members 7. Each of the upper rail member 9 and the lower rail member 5 is constituted by making a linear member having a circular or substantially circular sectional profile into an annular shape.
