<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method that is superior in blocking durability for a long period and in fingerprint adhesion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method includes: an ink applying step of applying an ink composition onto a recording medium with an inkjet method; and a particle applying step of applying liquid containing inorganic particles onto the recording medium onto which the ink composition has been applied.
