摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The bearing (1) has a bearing roller (3) mounted on a bearing surface (4). A bearing gap (8) is formed between the bearing surface and a surface of the bearing roller facing the bearing surface. A geometry of the surface of the bearing roller and/or a geometry of the bearing surface are designed such that height (s) of the bearing gap is rotatably varied along rotation direction (5) in which the bearing roller is rotated relative to the bearing surface. Planar surface portions are formed at the bearing surface. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Slide bearing for a plunger component of a high pressure pump for a fuel injection system i.e. common-rail diesel injection system, of an air-compressing, self-ignited combustion engine (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the bearing enables improving the performance of a plunger component and reducing tribological stress on a pump, thus reducing wear of the pump and increasing delivery pressure of the pump. The height of the bearing gap is rotatably varied along the rotation direction in which the bearing roller is rotated relative to the bearing surface, thus optimizing coefficient of friction.
