<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dielectric ceramic compositions which can be burned simultaneously while suppressing peeling between the dielectric ceramic compositions comprising principal ingredients and accessory ingredients including different materials, and a laminated ceramic electronic component. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition comprising a principal ingredient including Mg<SB POS="POST">2</SB>SiO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>and accessory ingredients is obtained by treating a raw material mixture powder, which is prepared by mixing the principal ingredient raw material including Mg<SB POS="POST">2</SB>SiO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>and the accessory ingredient raw materials together, with heat at a temperature of 800-950°C in an oxygen atmosphere. In the dielectric ceramic composition, a peak intensity ratio I<SB POS="POST">B</SB>/I<SB POS="POST">A</SB>of the X-ray diffraction peak intensity I<SB POS="POST">B</SB>in the range of 10.0-70.0° of the unreacted accessory ingredient raw materials after the heat treatment to the X-ray diffraction peak intensity I<SB POS="POST">A</SB>in the range of 10.0-70.0° of Mg<SB POS="POST">2</SB>SiO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>is 40% or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
