The housing (10) has integrated coolant passages (20) provided with base plates (1) and slabs (2), where the passages are formed as cavities in the base plates and/or the slabs by an injection molding method. The cavities are formed by meander-like running pipes that are integrated into the respective base plate and/or the respective slab. A pipe socket and an opening are provided in the respective base plate or the respective slab, where the opening corresponds to the socket and connects the passages with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a housing.
