<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source module causing little brightness unevenness on light irradiated. <P>SOLUTION: The light source module is provided with a light guide plate 120 having a plurality of irradiating faces 122, a light source for irradiating light on the light guide plate 120, a diffusion plate 130, and a diffusion sheet 140. The plurality of irradiating faces 122 are arrayed in parallel with each other with a gap 128, and each irradiating face 122 is equipped with a plurality of first groove parts 122a extended in parallel with each other along a direction parallel with a direction where the gaps 128 are extended. The diffusion plate 130 is arranged directly above the light guide plate 120 so as to cover the plurality of irradiating faces 122 and the gaps 128, and a plurality of second groove parts 131a are provided on a main face of the diffusion plate 130 parallel with each other and extended along a direction parallel with a direction where the first groove parts 122a are extended.
