PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception system suitable for a small-sized information system such as a notebook PC.

SOLUTION: A digital broadcast reception system is the digital broadcast reception system capable of viewing a digital broadcast with being connected to a PC. Said digital broadcast reception system is made to be provided with a digital tuner unit having broadcast wave decode means which expands a digital broadcast wave with moving-video-compression carried out and video scale conversion means which makes a magnitude of said decoded video of the broadcast wave small, and transmission interface means connected to the PC. The digital broadcast video is sent to the PC via said transmission interface means, and is made to enable it to view the digital broadcast. In addition, said digital tuner unit has a digital tuner and a broadcast wave decoder, and said transmission interface means is made to send the video information after being decoded to the PC.
