The lock (1) has a locking gear (4) with a rotary latch (5) and a bolt (7), and a lock housing (3) with an inlet muzzle (8). The inlet muzzle has a lock inlet lip, which is provided with a coating. The coating is applied on a side of the lock inlet lip facing a striker (6). The coating consists of a sliding lacquer, particularly on Teflon(RTM: Polytetrafluoroethylene) base. The sliding lacquer on Teflon base is a type of lacquer with 30-50 volume percent of polytetrafluoroethylene.
