PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve space utilization efficiency by combing a plurality of connection methods with one light emitting diode structure. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure(208) is formed in a carrier. The light emitting structure includes a first surface, a second surface, and an active layer facing the carrier. The active layer is arranged between the first surface and the second surface. A first trench(210) passes through the active layer and forms a light emitting device. A second trench(220) is extended on the second surface and passes through the active layer. |
