<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of selecting among shortening a time required for forming an image on papers and preventing heating caused by an image forming unit. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device of the invention includes an image forming unit that forms an image on papers, a user interface that receives a command to control the image forming unit to form the image, and a control unit that controls the image forming unit to form the image on the papers in a normal mode when the number of papers on which the image is formed by the command is greater than a threshold value (S104) and to form the image on the papers in a high speed mode when the number of papers is smaller than the threshold value (S103). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
