<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device arranged in a conveyor line to convey an article at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: In the transfer device 1, when a conveyance object 26 to be discharged from a main conveyance path 90 of a conveyor device gets close to or reaches the transfer device 1, a conveying surface of a sub conveyor unit is moved to a height equal to or more than the height of a conveying surface of a main conveyor unit. The sub conveyor unit is operated while the conveyance object 26 is moved in a direction along the main conveyance path 90 while keeping inertial force. A force in the direction crossing the inertial force is applied to the conveyance object 26 to discharge the conveyance object 26 from the main conveyance path 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
