<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold set and a method for manufacturing an optical element in which the release of the optical element is smoothly carried out with a simple composition. <P>SOLUTION: The mold set 10 includes: a first mold (11) and a second mold (12) which have been countered and arranged sandwitching an optical material 100, a first spacer (14) and a second spacer (15) which have been formed between the first mold (11) and the second mold (12), wherein the first spacer (14) assures the interval of the first mold (11) and the second mold (12) at a first temperature T1 in the middle of pressurization of the optical material (100), the first spacer (14) contracts in the direction of mold opening and closing from the second spacer (15) from the first temperature T1 to a second temperature T2 in the middle of cooling of the optical material 100, and the second spacer (15) assures the interval of the first mold (11) and the second mold (12) at the second temperature T2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
