<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trailing arm mounting structure capable of reducing the size and weight of a trailing arm bracket while securing mounting rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: A gap L2 is formed between the outer wall 2b of a side member 2 and the inner wall 3f of the extended part 3e of a side sill 3. The mounting bracket 7 of the trailing arm 6 is disposed in the gap L2. The inner wall 7a of the mounting bracket 7 of the trailing arm 6 is mounted to the outer wall 2b of the side member 2. The outer wall 7b of the mounting bracket 7 of the trailing arm 6 is mounted to the inner wall 3f of the extended part 3e of the side sill 3.
