PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a heat-masking coating film which is easier to produce than in the prior art and has superior durability to the prior art; a process for production thereof; and heat-resistant alloy members using the same.

SOLUTION: This invention relates to a heat-masking coating film 10 formed on a base material 3, including: a plurality of metal particles 11 from a metal; a bonding coat 1 formed by joining the plurality of metal particles 11 in a continuum via a metal oxide 11a; and an oxide layer 2 which includes an oxide of the metal.
