<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up the movement of liquid ejection heads 2a, 2b without breaking a meniscus formed in the nozzle of the liquid ejection heads 2a, 2b. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejector includes a first carriage 3a mounting a first liquid ejection head 2a, a second carriage 3b mounting a second liquid ejection head 2b, a moving mechanism 6 which reciprocates the first carriage 3a and the second carriage 3b in parallel in the directions opposite from each other, first and second liquid supply pipes 4a, 4b which supply liquid, respectively, to the liquid ejection heads 2a, 2b, and a liquid tank 5 which supplies liquid to the first and second liquid supply pipes 4a, 4b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
