1486829 Hearth chamber walls DIDIER-WERKE AG 10 Sept 1974 [19 Sept 1973] 39532/74 Heading F4B A horizontally sloping hearth chamber wall includes wall supports 2 and anchoring devices comprising plate-like members 6 recessed at 5 to engage the wall supports and having projections 8 that engage recesses in refractory bricks 10, a separate brick being hung on each projection. Each projection 8 is stepped relative to each other projection in height corresponding to the horizontal slope of the wall and the projections may be angled relative to the plate-like member 6. The anchoring devices may be in two parts (6a) and (6b), Fig. 4a (not shown), and the plate-like members may be given an angular formation (18), Fig. 5c (not shown). Steel wedges 14 may be used for fixing the anchoring devices to the wall supports. |
