A method for providing an insurance service according to card usage is provided to prevent troubles such as arrears and minimize a loss by insuring a card use amount of the client automatically against the arrears when the client uses a cash or loan service. A server checks insurance information including insurance product information of a customer from a storage medium storing the insurance information of the client when the client uses a cash or loan service by using credit, debit, and check cards(210). The server effects an insurance based on the checked insurance information by linking with an insurance company server(270). The storage medium is an IC chip embedded in the client card or mobile terminal, or is embedded a server on the wired/wireless network. |
