PURPOSE: A film type optical device package which includes ceramic particles and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve heat dissipation efficiency by directly mounting an optical device on a circuit pattern layer of the lower part of an insulating film. CONSTITUTION: An insulating film(210) includes ceramic particles(30). A via hole(10) is formed on the insulating film. A circuit pattern layer(235) is arranged on the lower surface of the insulating film. An optical device(150) is mounted on the upper surface of the circuit pattern layer exposed by the via hole. The optical device is electrically connected to the circuit pattern layer.
