PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a liposome dispersion containing >=10 wt.% of a fatty acid in a liposome film produced completely without using a solvent. SOLUTION: This fatty acid-containing liposome dispersion is obtained through (a) a process in which 100 pts.wt. of water and 0.2-16 pts.wt. of glycerol, and a phospholipid and a lysophospholipid are mixed and dispersed, (b) a subsequent process in which a fatty acid is dispersed to obtain a crude dispersion, and (c) a process in which the obtained crude dispersion is subjected to a liposome making treatment. In the obtained fatty acid-containing liposome dispersion, the total amount of mixed lipids consisting of the phospholipid, the lysophospholipid and the 8-22C fatty acid is 1-35 pts.wt., the weight ratio of the phospholipid to the lysophospholipid in the mixed lipids is 8:1 to 200:1, and the content of the fatty acid in the mixed lipids is in the range of 10-35 wt.%. |
