METHOD FOR SUPPRESSION OF A DUST-GAS CLOUD IN A PIT

A method for suppression of a dust-gas cloud in a pit includes preliminary determination of the area of the block of the pit where blast operations are carried out, volume of dust-gas cloud and apparent height of sprinkling. With account of those parameters one determines amount of liquid agent that is then sprinkled to the area of the pit block before blast and to the dust-gas cloud after blast from the vessel of a helicopter.
