A multilayer coating of metal pipes comprises a ground prime coat based on epoxy powder compound, an intermediate adhesive layer based on thermoplastic and polyolefin cover layer, which can be applied on chemically modified (chromate and/or phosphate) layer of metal surface and is designed for corrosion protection of pipes 230 . For improvement of adhesive strength, increase of water resistance of adhesion at elevated temperatures, increase of resistance to cathode delamination with a degree of crosslinking the epoxy primer layer in the range from 5 % to 95 % an epoxy resin primer is applied, then the layer of thermoplastic ethylene-based adhesive, which contains a crosslinking agent and a stabilizer of degradation of ethylene copolymers, and then by the method of extrusion a polyolefin-based protective layer is applied. |
