PURPOSE: A mobile terminal is provided to prevent light of a light emitting unit from being incident onto a light receiving unit. CONSTITUTION: A window(155) covers first and second through holes(241a,241b). The window is mounted on the frontal side of a case(101). A proximity sensor(141) senses approach of an external object by light reflected from an external object. The proximity sensor includes a lighting emitting unit(141a) and a light receiving unit(141b). A blocking film(200) prevents light from being incident onto the light receiving unit. The blocking film covers the inner sides of the first and second through holes and the rear side of the case.
