PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell which is hardly deteriorated by moisture.

SOLUTION: A gasket 108 is used for an electrochemical cell. All the surfaces of the gasket 108 are coated with a moistureproof film 201 made of a material having a lower water absorption rate than the material of the gasket 108.
