A cooling device comprising: a heat sink and heat pipe connected to each other; a metal plate connected to the heat pipe; an elastic member provided to the metal plate; and a fixing member that can be attached to a printed circuit board in which a heat-generating component is mounted, that can be fixed to the elastic member when the elastic member is elastically deformed so that the metal plate is pressed against the heat-generating component, and that can position the metal plate when not fixed to the elastic member.
