<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents leakage of toner from a toner recovery part when the recovery part is extracted. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: an apparatus body 2; a processing unit which is arranged inside the apparatus body 2 and performs an image formation process for forming a toner image on a recording medium; a toner discharge part 20 which is arranged inside the apparatus body 2 and discharges toner not used in the image formation process from the processing unit; a waste toner bottle 16 for recovering the toner from the toner discharge part 20; a lid member 18 openable/closable with respect to the waste toner bottle 16; a toner recovery part 12 attachable to or detachable from the apparatus body 2; an opening/closing mechanism 30 which is provided inside the apparatus body 2 and puts the lid member 18 of the toner recovery part 12 in open state when the toner recovery part 12 is attached to the apparatus body 2 and puts the lid member 18 in closed state when the toner recovery part 12 is detached from the apparatus body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
