<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental syringe allowing an easy and certain discharge of a desired amount of dental material from inside a barrel, and allowing one-handed easy use. <P>SOLUTION: This dental syringe includes: a barrel body 1 formed with a flange part 1e around the other end or the vicinity thereof of the barrel 1d wherein the dental material is previously stored, wherein a cap 1a is covered on a discharge port of one end, and wherein an inner plug 1c is inserted from an opening end 1b of the other end to tightly close the barrel 1d; a spring setting body 2 formed integrally with the barrel body 1 or bonded and fixed to the barrel body 1; and a plunger body 3 formed with ratchet teeth 3b on the side face of a plunger 3a for pressing out the dental material by pressing the inner plug 1c. The dental syringe includes a ratchet mechanism wherein an end part 4a of a spring member 4 installed to a spring installation part 2a of the spring setting body 2 is locked to the ratchet teeth 3b of the plunger 3a to restrict the plunger 3a such that, when the plunger 3a is inserted into the barrel 1d, the plunger 3a can move only to a direction to which the plunger 3a is inserted into the barrel 1d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
