<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door opening/closing device capable of improving the effect of safe travel of a vehicle and the state of maintaining sure full closure. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle door opening/closing device of the invention, by detecting that a fork 9 is at a half latch position by a rotary switch 41, an operation mechanism 30 is driven to swing the fork 9 to a full latch position. Around a swing shaft 7 for swingably supporting the fork 9, an operation gear 9f which has a diameter smaller than the fork 9 and is swingable integrally with the fork 9 is provided. The rotary switch 41 includes: a switch body 41a fixed to a back plate 3 between a base plate 1 and the back plate 3 and provided with a turning shaft 42 in parallel with a swing axis 7a so as to be rotated; and a passive gear 44 to be engaged with the operation gear 9f. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
