<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker which can efficiently cook regardless of a material of a heated object. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker of the present embodiment comprises a DC power supply circuit, a resonance circuit including one induction heating coil and a resonance capacitor, an inverter supplying a high-frequency voltage to the resonance circuit, and control means controlling switching operation of the inverter. The control means performs power control to make heating power coincide with preset heating power by varying a drive frequency of a drive signal in a range that a frequency of a high-frequency current flowing in the resonance circuit becomes the maximum frequency or less and the minimum frequency or more. On performing the power control, the control means performs a thinning control alternately performing a signal change operation for changing the drive signal every period of the drive signal to change an on period to an off period and a normal operation without changing the drive signal when the heating power does not coincide with the preset heating power even if the drive frequency of the drive signal varies to the maximum value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
